  • Ant

    • How long does it take to get rid of ants?
Most customers see significant results within three weeks, with the majority of ant problems resolved entirely during this time.
    • Are carpenter ants more dangerous than regular ants?
Yes, carpenter ants can cause structural damage to wood in your home, unlike most other species. They don’t eat wood but excavate it to build nests, which can weaken your property over time.
    • How can I help prevent ants from coming back?
You can help by sealing cracks and crevices, storing food in airtight containers, and promptly cleaning up spills or crumbs. Maintaining a dry, clean environment can deter ants from returning.
    • Why do ants keep coming back after I treat them myself?
DIY treatments often target only the ants you see, not the colony itself. Without eliminating the source, ants will return. Our advanced treatments are designed to eradicate the entire colony, ensuring long-term results.
    • How does your ant treatment work?
Our treatments use micro-encapsulation technology, creating an invisible barrier that ants carry back to their colony. This eliminates the infestation at the source, providing fast and effective results.
    • Are your treatments safe for pets and children?
Yes, our treatments use pet-safe, eco-friendly formulas designed to target ants while keeping your family and pets safe. Your home is protected without compromising safety.
    • Do I need to leave my home during treatment?
No, our treatments are minimally invasive and safe, allowing you to stay in your home during the process.
    • How do I know if I have an ant problem?
Signs of an ant problem include trails of ants in your home, small piles of dirt or debris near entry points, and visible colonies around your property. If you notice these signs, it’s time to address the issue before it worsens.
    • Does your ant treatment include a warranty?
Yes, our ant treatment comes with a 2-month warranty, giving you peace of mind and ensuring that your home remains ant-free.
  • Cockroach

    • How can I help make the treatment more effective?
It is extremely important to keep the effected area clean and free of debris. To enhance the treatment’s effectiveness, clean up any food debris, grease, or crumbs, and store food in airtight containers. Fix leaks or areas with excess moisture that could serve as water sources for cockroaches. Reducing clutter also limits their hiding spots and helps the treatment work faster.
    • How long does it take to get rid of cockroaches?
Our process achieves 100% eradication within 6 weeks. Most customers see 80% elimination by 4 weeks, 90% by 5 weeks, and full resolution by the 6-week mark—all with just one comprehensive treatment.
    • How do I know if I have a cockroach problem?
Common signs of a cockroach infestation include droppings that look like small black specks similar to black pepper, a musty odor in infested areas, and shed skins. You may also spot live cockroaches, particularly at night.
    • Does your cockroach treatment include a warranty?
Yes, we provide a 3-month warranty with our cockroach treatment for your peace of mind. Our warranty for cockroach treatments is one of the best in the industry.
    • How does your cockroach treatment work?
Our cockroach treatment combines an interior baseboard application with a gel baiting treatment. The spray creates a protective barrier, while the gel bait inhibits energy production at a cellular level, killing the cockroaches and spreading through the population. This ensures the entire infestation is eradicated with just one treatment.
    • How should I prepare for my cockroach treatment?
To ensure the most effective treatment possible, we recommend moving small household items about 1 foot away from the baseboards throughout the effected areas. The more items you can clear from affected areas—such as appliances and cabinet contents—the more thoroughly we can treat, making the treatment even more effective! Your preparation plays a big role in achieving the best results.
    • Do I need to leave my home during treatment?
No, our treatments are minimally invasive and safe, so you can stay in your home during the process. Our technicians ensure precise application to keep your living spaces secure.
    • Are your treatments safe for pets and children?
Yes! At Pest Arrest, we use pet-safe, eco-friendly sprays along with precision-applied gel bait to ensure effective cockroach control while keeping your family and pets safe.
    • Why do cockroaches keep coming back after DIY treatments?
DIY treatments often fail to target the entire cockroach population, especially hidden nests and breeding areas. Cockroaches are notoriously difficult to eliminate because they can adapt to and develop tolerances for store-bought products over time. If not addressed quickly and entirely, the population can evolve resistance, making future treatments less effective. Our professional spray and baiting combination is specifically designed to eliminate the infestation at its source, eradicating the entire population swiftly and preventing the problem from returning.

    • My pet brought in the fleas. What should I do?

  • WDI

    • What happens if wood-destroying insects are found during the inspection?
If a wood-destroying organism is found during the inspection, we can treat most issues, including carpenter ants, powderpost beetles, and woodboring beetles. However, we do not treat termites. If termite activity is detected, we will inform you immediately and recommend a trusted termite specialist for proper treatment. Our team is fully equipped to handle non-termite wood-destroying pests and provide effective solutions to protect your property.
  • Vole

    • Can I stay in my home during treatment?
Yes, our vole treatments are minimally invasive and focused on the exterior of your property. You can remain in your home without disruption during the treatment process.
  • WDI

    • What is the NPMA-33 Form?
The NPMA-33 Form is an official pest inspection document required for VA home loans and many real estate transactions. It provides a detailed report on the presence or absence of wood-destroying insects (WDIs), structural damage, and conditions that could lead to infestations. This form is completed by certified pest inspectors after conducting a WDI inspection.
  • Vole

    • How do I know if I have a vole problem?

Signs of a vole infestation include trails or runways in your lawn, burrow openings near plants or garden beds, chewed vegetation, and wilting plants caused by vole activity near the roots. If you notice these signs, it’s likely that voles are damaging your yard.

    • Does your vole treatment include a warranty?

Yes, our vole treatment comes with a 3-month warranty for your peace of mind. The warranty begins on the day of the follow-up service and ensures that any additional vole issues during this period will be addressed at no extra cost.
